US Department of Treasury announces sanctions on Iran automotive companies
On October 1, the US Department of the Treasury announced actions targeting Iran’s Automotive, Rail, Manufacturing, and Steel Networks, as part of Operation Economic Outcast. The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) issued sanctions (Executive Order (E.O.) 13902) targeting Iran’s automotive and rail sectors.
