Auto sales in Vietnam down 2.2% in August, hybrid vehicles remain strong despite Ghost Month

According to the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA) report issued on September 11, automobile sales (including imported vehicles of non-VAMA manufacturers' sales) in Vietnam were down 2.2% year-over-year to 25,395 units in August. CKD volume was 9,960 units and CBU volume was 15,435 units.
