Fire at Daido Steel’s Chita Plant extinguished, suspended equipment to restart
Daido Steel Co., Ltd. announced that the Tokai City Fire Department declared a fire at the scrapyard of its Chita Plant in Tokai, Aichi Prefecture, extinguished at 7:55 a.m. on August 16. The fire had broken out on the night of August 11. No equipment was damaged, but one worker sustained a burn on the top of the foo....
