Zijin Mining, China, commissions DRC’s first lithium mine
On July 15, multiple sources reported that Zijin Mining has commissioned the Manono project, the first lithium mine of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The company has invested USD 1 billion in this project. It has the capacity of up to 5 million metric tons of ore per year. It will create 1,500 direct jobs and more....
