Global xEV sales up 4.9% to 1,998 thousand units in May
On June 26, MarkLines announced that global xEV (including BEV, PHEV and HEV) sales in May increased by 4.9% YoY to 1,998 thousand units.
In the first five months of 2026, total xEV sales decreased 3.2% YoY to 8,456 thousand units.
xEVs accounted for 39.1% of total sales in May.
