Kia Sportage Hybrid begins production at Metaplant America
On June 2, the Hyundai Motor Group began production of the Kia Sportage Hybrid at the Metaplant America (HMGMA) in Ellabell, Georgia.
Until now, Kia has produced all Sportage Hybrids for the U.S. market at its plant in Gwangju, South Korea before exporting them overseas.
