GM extends third shift at Oshawa Assembly Plant until end of January
On September 9, the Unifor labor union said that GM will continue to operate its Oshawa Assembly Plant in Canada on three shifts until January 30, 2026, preserving about 700 jobs until the new year at the plant that builds the Chevrolet Silverado, in response to short term ”production needs" for the light-duty pickup....
