On September 11, Daimler Buses announced that it is expanding capacity through a partnership with Turkish manufacturer Otokar Otomotiv ve Savunma Sanayi A.Ş. From September 2026, Otokar’s Sakarya plant will produce the Mercedes Benz Conecto city bus to meet rising demand for Mercedes Benz and Setra buses.
