Rivian software to power Audi's EV lineup starting in 2028
On September 8, Audi CEO Gernot Döllner confirmed the brand will become the first in the Volkswagen Group to deploy vehicles built entirely on Rivian's software architecture, with new-generation EVs set to debut from 2028 onwards. The move follows VW Group's USD 5.8 billion investment in Rivian in 2024.
