GM plans shift shutdowns at Factory Zero as EV sales slow
On August 27, General Motors announced to employees that its EV manufacturing plant Factory Zero will partially shut down its first and second shift production temporarily beginning September 2, the day after Labor Day, and resume October 6. The move impacts approximately 360 employees.
