                                On May 2, General Motors announced it will cut a shift at its truck plant in Oshawa, Ontario, this fall in response to President Donald Trump's trade war with Canada. Trump enacted a general 25% tariff on Canadian imports, with some exceptions. Canada followed with a 25% countertariff as well.
