Canada to give tariff exemptions to OEMs that continue domestic manufacturing
On April 15, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said his government will allow OEMs to import U.S.-manufactured cars and trucks without the 25% tariffs his country has imposed to counter those of the U.S., as long as the companies keep producing vehicles in Canada.
