Ford accelerates BlueOval SK Battery Park opening to Q1 2025
On November 14, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear announced that BlueOval SK, Ford’s joint venture with SK On, has hired about 1,100 total workers with 750 of those assigned to work at the massive battery plant in Glendale. Beshear sees the facility as a key component of solidifying Kentucky as the "EV capital of the U.S."
