China starts soliciting public comments on mandatory standards for passenger car fuel consumption
On August 21, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued two mandatory standards, the “Fuel Consumption Evaluation Methods and Targets for Passenger Cars” (the FCE) and the “Energy Consumption Limits for EVs - Part 1: Passenger Cars” (the ECL), for public comments until October 20.
