SoftBank, Japan acquires UK-based AI compute company Graphcore
On July 11, SoftBank Group Corp. acquired Graphcore which became a wholly-owned subsidiary of SoftBank. It will continue to operate under the Graphcore name. The company’s headquarters remain in Bristol, with offices in Cambridge, London, Gdansk and Hsinchu.
