Zoox robotaxis under investigation by NHTSA after 2 rear-end crashes
On May 13, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said in documents that it will evaluate the automated driving system developed by Zoox, Amazon’s self-driving robotaxi unit, after two of its vehicles braked suddenly and were rear-ended by motorcyclists.
