At the press briefing for the Japan Mobility Show 2023 (JMS 2023) being held at Tokyo Big Sight, Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (Honda) Director, President and Representative, Mr. Toshihiro Mibe took the stage for the unveiling of the world premiere of the Prelude Concept sports model.

The word "prelude" in Prelude Concept means “introductory or preceding performance”. The Prelude Concept is the forerunner of a model that embodies Honda's unchanging sports mindset and inherits the "joy of driving" into the era of full-scale electrification. It is a model that makes you want to go anywhere and feel the excitement of the extraordinary.

The Honda booth also features the General Motors Cruise Origin, a self-driving vehicle that frees you from time constraints; the SUSTAINA-C Concept, a vehicle created through resource circulation; the CI -MEV, a self-driving micro-mobility vehicle, and more.

The theme of the booth is "Honda Dream Loop”. President Mibe said that Honda will continue to offer the two themes of "Transcend" and "Augment," which are the essential values of all the mobility products that Honda has been offering. The booth exhibits mobility that frees people from various constraints such as time and space, as well as mobility that expands people's capabilities and potential.
