ACEA announces that EU imported over half a million Chinese-made cars in 2022
On September 21, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) announced that the EU imported over half a million Chinese-made cars, 561,070 units, in 2022; around 62.7% were battery-electric. Chinese brands account for 3.7% of EU battery-electric car sales in 2022, up from 0.4% just three years ago.
