Toyota suspends production at Durban, South Africa plant after floods
On April 14, multiple sources reported that Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) has suspended operations at its Durban plant on the back of heavy rains and flooding in KwaZulu-Natal.
The plant manufactures Hilux, Fortuner, Corolla Cross, and Corolla Quest models, and employs 7,200 people.
