FTI projects production of 1.8 million cars and 2 million motorbikes in Thailand in 2022
Announced on January 24, 2022, Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) forecasted that 2022 vehicle production will grow 6.8% from 1,685,705 units in 2021 to reach 1.8 million units, of which 1 million units will be production for exports (up 4.5%), while 800,000 vehicles will be produced for domestic sales (up 9.7%).
