On December 3, 2021, Suzuki Motor Corporation announced it will temporarily suspend vehicle production at two plants located in Shizuoka Pref., Japan in December, due to a parts shortage caused by the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Southeast Asia.
