On September 30, 2021, Suzuki Motor Corporation announced it will temporarily suspend production at Kosai Plant located in Shizuoka Pref., Japan in October, due to a parts shortage caused by the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Southeast Asia.
