On April 9, Daimler Trucks announced it had produced its 500,000 trucks in its plant in Saltillo, Mexico, since beginning of operations in 2009,
The 500,000th truck was a Freightliner Cascadia equipped with a DD15 engine, the best-selling Class 8 truck in the U.S.
