GM halts production for USD 500 million new model retooling effort at Rosario plant
The GM Rosario plant in Argentina will have scheduled shutdown periods as it prepares to produce a new model by the end of 2021 on an assembly line shared with the current Chevrolet Cruze.
A total of USD 500 million is being invested in the plant for production of an unnamed “High Added Value” vehicle.
