U.S. car sales jump 61.9% in March, up 11.4% for Q1 2021
U.S. light vehicle sales in March of 1,605,115 units were up 61.9% as compared to the same month in 2020, which marked the beginning of the COVID-19 shutdowns.
Truck and SUV sales rose 70.2% from last March to 1,232,285 units, while passenger car sales increased 39.5% to 372,830 units.
