Mexican auto parts industry strengthens heading into 2021
As the main supplier of automotive parts and components in the U.S., Mexico currently accounts for 38% of those imports, according to Óscar Albín, president of Mexico’s National Auto Parts Industry (INA).
Among other countries of origin, China accounts for 9.0%, Japan 8.3%, Germany 6.6% and Korea 5.3%.
