GM begins second shift at assembly plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky
On August 31, General Motors began a second shift at the Corvette plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
GM announced in April it would add a second shift and 400 jobs to the plant to support production of the all-new C8 Corvette, bringing the total work force there to more than 1,300 employees.
