GM to continue Wentzville third shift by transferring workers from other plants
On July 27, GM reversed course at its Wentzville Assembly plant, and instead of idling its third shift due to high worker absenteeism as coronavirus cases surge in the surrounding community, will now continue to run the factory on three shifts by transferring staff from other plants, even from as far as Michigan.
