GM’s largest plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee, to operate on 100% solar energy by 2022
On May 14, General Motors announced that its Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee, the largest GM facility in North America, totaling 2,100 acres, will be powered by 100% solar energy beginning in late 2022.
The plant builds the GMC Acadia and the Cadillac XT5 and XT6, as well as several engines.
