Byton starts trial production of M-Byte as it completes first OTS model

It was reported by various media sources that Byton’s founder Dr. Daniel Kirchert posted a message on China’s Weibo platform on October 23 to announce that Byton’s Nanjing Plant completed its first OTS (off-tooling samples, a validation phase in trial production of vehicles) version of the M-Byte model on the day. Dr. Kirchert further disclosed that the automaker will start to produce the same batch of trial models at the plant. 
In addition, the utility of Byton’s smart EV platform will be continuously optimized. Dr. Kirchert also disclosed that M-Byte’s production model will feature 90% of innovative design for a concept car.
