GM’s Detroit-Hamtramck plant would get USD 3 billion for EV trucks, vans, batteries in proposed contract
According to terms of the tentative agreement with the United Auto Workers (UAW) being voted on, General Motors would invest USD 3 billion in the Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly plant and create 2,225 new jobs when production of electric trucks and vans, as well as battery modules, reaches full volume.
