Cooper Standard inaugurates its USD 15 million plant in Aguascalientes, Mexico

The second Cooper Standard plant was inaugurated in Aguascalientes, a development located in FINSA industrial park, for which a private investment of USD15 million was required and will generate 100 new jobs. In this plant, polymer mixing technology is used to provide seals and rubber packaging to the automotive industry. Cooper Standard 's first plant in the state is the largest of the corporation’s 124 plants in the world and is considered the top performer, producing approximately 73,000 units, with 200 unique part numbers, on a daily basis for customers such as Ford, Volkswagen, Nissan, GM, and FCA, among others.
