Indonesian sales down 5.3% in September [ Indonesia ] 
Indonesian automobile manufacturers association (Gaikindo) and other sources reported that Indonesian vehicle sales in September were 87,645 units down 5.3% year over year.
January - September sales were up 2.7% to 803,757 units.
By automaker sales in September, Toyota was down 26.3% y/y to 27,251 units and Daihatsu was down 6.3% to 15,507 units. Honda was down 4.3% to 15,112 units. Mitsubishi (including Fuso trucks) was up 21.8% to 10,934 units. Suzuki was up 38.4% to 9,126 units.
Automakers see the Indonesian sales trend is basically positive and September downturn is due to a temporarily inventory adjustment.
