GM lays off 2,000 workers as it announces USD 915.6 million in plant investments

On November 9, General Motors announced plans both to invest USD 915.6 million in three U.S. plants and lay off 2,000 workers because of slowing car sales.
GM will cut the third shift at its Lansing Grand River Assembly Plant where the Cadillac ATS and CTS and Chevrolet Camaro are produced and the Lordstown Assembly ....
