U.S. car sales fall 4.1% in August

U.S. light vehicle sales of 1,512,556 units in August were down 4.1% compared to the same month in 2015. (The correction of FCA sales form -2.4% to +3.1% has not been reflected.)
Truck and SUV sales rose 2.5% from last year to 911,573 units, while total passenger car sales declined 12.6% to 600,983 units.
