- A platform that allows companies to build metaverse applications and simulate design and production in a virtual world. BMW is using the company's Omniverse to build a digital twin of its plant, simulating production and more. Mercedes Benz also announced in January 2023 that it will utilize Omniverse. Omniverse is built on USD (Universal Scene Description), a tool developed by Pixar for 3D scenes, which allows users to realize large-scale, accurate virtual environments such as plants in 3D while utilizing open source resources.
