The Daihatsu Move underwent its first full model change in 11 years in June 2025, becoming a kei tall wagon (its sister model is the Subaru Stella) based on the Move Canvas.

It features inline-3 naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines (KF), with sliding rear doors standard across all grades.
Components are supplied by various companies, not just Daihatsu Group affiliates: crankshafts and connecting rods by Metalart, timing chains by BorgWarner, sliding door parts by Hi-Lex ACT,seats by Fuji Seat, and seat belts by Autoliv.
