Ford's electrified car assembly plants in U.S.

On December 15, 2025, Ford announced a new revised strategy for its EV and ICE efforts. At Ohio Assembly Plant, plan for next-generation electric van is being scrapped. The plant will instead build a next-generation gasoline and hybrid van starting in 2029.

Statistics

German production in 2025 fell by 0.3%

Largely impacted by a decline in exports to the U.S. However, a recovery in domestic EV demand helped mitigate the overall slight decrease. Export-heavy OEMs Mercedes and BMW saw declines.
