Iran announces ban on import of luxury cars
On September 30, multiple sources reported that the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran suspended the import of luxury cars by order of the President of Iran. The decision was taken due to pressure on the foreign exchange market and capital outflow. The Government will focus on importing economical cars.
