Australian new vehicle sales increase 7.0% in June; BYD surges 130%, closes in on Toyota
On July 3, the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries announced that new vehicle registrations of 131,134 units in June 2026 represented a 7.0% increase from June 2025. New vehicle sales of 606,793 units in the first six months of the year represented a 0.3% decrease YoY.
