Iran announces new tariffs for importing cars into free zones
On June 27, multiple sources reported that Iran has announced a new customs tariff for importing vehicles to free zones. According to the new regulations, battery electric vehicles will be subject to only 2% customs duty. Hybrid vehicles with engines up to 2,000 cc will have a 4% tariff.
