Vietnam prolongs first-time registration fee exemption for BEVs until end-2030
Reported on June 9, 2026, the Vietnamese government issued Decree 202, extending a 0% first-time registration fee for BEVs until the end of 2030.
The decree takes effect on March 1, 2027, and amends Decree No. 10, continuing incentives that had previously been extended under Decree 51 of 2025 through February 2027.
