Asahi Kasei to delay Canada plant opening on Honda EV delay
Asahi Kasei is delaying the opening of its Ontario, Canada, battery separator plant, originally set for 2027, until 2029 or later because of an expected lack of demand after Honda, one of Asahi's main customers, had delayed the launch of an EV production hub in the country.
