Germany announces EUR 3 billion new electric car subsidy program
On January 19, the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Germany, announced a new electric car subsidy program. Both the purchase and leasing of new vehicles are eligible for funding. The available funds, totaling EUR 3 billion, are sufficient for an estimated 800,000 subsidized vehicles between 2026 and 2029.
