Mercedes-Benz to shift A-Class production from Germany to Hungary in starting Q2 2026
On January 6, Mercedes-Benz announced that it will move production of its entry-level A-Class from Rastatt, Germany, to its Kecskemét, Hungary, starting in the second quarter of 2026. The move will free up capacity and space at the Rastatt plant to support the ramp-up of the planned new models.
