Fraunhofer FFB, Germany produces first lithium-ion battery cell
On December 15, the Fraunhofer Institute for Research Production of Battery Cells (FFB) produced its first electrically functional lithium-ion battery cell at its “FFB PreFab” research factory in Münster, marking the first complete battery cell production process achieved using European equipment.
