Akebono files for layoffs in Michigan due to declining U.S. business
Akebono Brake Corp. announced that in "a mass layoff" it is letting go 48 people at its Akebono Engineering Center in Farmington Hills, Michigan in a move that is expected to be permanent, the company said in a WARN statement filed with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity.
