GM shortens workweek for some workers at its Rochester, New York plant
On April 15, GM notified 100 workers at its components plant in Rochester, New York, that their hours will be reduced as they move move to a shorter work week as it adjusts EV production volume at several other facilities. In a statement, GM described the layoffs as tied to a “supply chain constraint”.
