Cummins to pay USD 1.67 billion to California, EPA as 630,000 Ram pickups recalled
On January 10, California and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency finalized a USD 1.67 billion settlement with truck engine maker Cummins, after the company illegally installed “defeat devices” in the engines of 630,000 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickup truck engines in the model years 2013-2019.
