BYD granted China’s first license for testing Level 3 autonomous driving on expressways, highways
On December 27, BYD announced that it obtained a license for testing conditional (Level 3) autonomous driving on expressways and highways in Shenzhen, Guangdong on July 21, 2023. This makes it China’s first automaker to be granted such a license.
